OUR TEAM
Andy Watts is a carpenter and woodworker in Tampa, Florida with over 40 years of experience.
Andy began working in residential construction in Broward and Palm Beach counties in 1976. Through on-the-job training, he learned trim carpentry, framing, and concrete form work, moving from day laborer to Job Superintendent in a few short years.
In 1989, after Hurricane Hugo had devastated the U.S. Virgin Islands, Andy traveled to St. Croix to run restoration crews on local hotel and ancillary structures. By 1991, he had resettled in St. Thomas, where he continued to work on residential projects until Hurricane Marilyn hit and he was called back into storm recovery work once again.
A few years later, Andy pivoted to work almost exclusively on commercial and retail retrofit projects that required custom cabinets and millwork. He found that he enjoyed the creative challenge and decided to start a business dedicated to custom woodworking and construction. With a modest investment and basic machinery, he built a successful woodcraft business for clients in St. Thomas.
After Hurricanes Irma and Maria hit St. Thomas in 2017, Andy and his wife permanently relocated and re-established their business in St. Petersburg, Florida. He now crafts custom cabinets, custom closets, custom furniture, and provides other custom woodworking, carpentry and millwork services to clients in South Tampa, Apollo Beach, St. Pete Beach, Weedon Island, Redington Shores and Tierra Verde, among other areas.
Your dream home awaits.
